The City of Los Angeles continues to be the epicenter of our nation’s affordability and homelessness crises. Working families are being crushed as consumer prices rise due to inflation. This is exactly the wrong time to increase our reliance on expensive foreign oil, yet that is precisely what the City Council is accomplishing by shutting down local oil and gas production.
Working Angelenos are dependent on their gas vehicles to get them to where they need to go – for work, school and daily activities. Driving up their energy costs even further is just bad policy.
Take action now and email the LA City Council to stop pursuing policies that will increase energy prices and decimate Los Angeles’ economy.
