Lompoc Chamber opposes Measure P

County tax revenues from onshore oil and gas production were estimated to be approximately $16.4 million in 2013, with the bulk of this money going to support our schools and other essential services, such as fire services. All this does not take into account the potential liability costs the county would incur in defending against property owners who would be losing their mineral rights. Help keep our environment safe and economy strong. Vote “no” on Measure P.
