If you’re a single mother in the U.S., fracking might mean you have enough gas to get to work this week, or take your child to a doctor. If you’re a small business owner, fracking might mean that you won’t have to lay off those two employees this week. If you’re a large business, products can be manufactured and distributed for less, which means competition kicks in to lower prices to consumers. In general, fracking for crude oil means individuals and businesses in America have a little more disposable cash left in their budgets.
